An Inspirational Vision for the Future
The 2nd Annual Conference on the Spiritual State of the World: Frequencies, Resonance & Vibrational Healing — Toward 2012, was hosted by Cosolargy International in Reno, Nevada, September 8-11, 2011. (Presenters Biographical Information)
With people attending from almost every continent, (North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania) the conference featured a large contingency from Japan, led by Yukinori Matsushita, Director of Cosolargy Institute of Japan and Manners Sound Research Company Ltd. based in Kurume, Japan, who was also one of the conference presenters.
The keynote address, "Syntropy, or the Drive in Nature to Perfect Itself," was delivered on Thursday morning by the internationally celebrated author and alternative therapist Dr. James L. Oschman. Emphasis was placed upon new alternative healing technologies, the self-healing potentials of subtle energies, solar energy and its dominant role in health and survival, and the importance of "earthing" — reconnecting with the free electrons of the planet’s surface and the miraculous healing benefits derived therefrom by simply going barefoot.
Oschman was followed by David Gibson, Founding Director of the Globe Sound and Consciousness Institute in San Francisco. His talk, "Using the Laws of Resonance to Handle Challenges, Conflicts, World Changes, and Noise," featured audience interaction in chanting, intoning, and vocal techniques that may be employed to alter states of consciousness and deflect stress from ambient noise.
Sean Savoy, Chancellor of the International Community of Cosolargy and the Jamilian University, concluded the morning's presentations with a review of the dimensional understandings of the physical, psychic, and spiritual aspects that compose the tripartite conscious entity.
Following a wonderful luncheon served onsite, noted sound researcher, educator, composer, music producer, and specialist in psychoacoustics, Joshua Leeds, opened the afternoon presentations with "Internet and Innernet: A Call for Leadership.
Leeds discussed the international communications network that has enormously increased global communications and which has, for example, galvanized members of the "Arab Spring" in the Middle East and Africa. He also addressed myriad emerging new technologies and the rapid growth of techno-industries and their effects upon consciousness. He left open the question of whether these developments are positive or negative directions for humankind, as for example in the areas of robotics and digital effects upon the overall person.
Leeds was followed by Rebecca Willis, Director of Admissions at the Jamilian University. In her lecture, "Pioneers in Healing and Gnostic Tradition," she reviewed several alternative healers in America and Europe during the last century, such as Sebastian Kneipp's work with hydrotherapy and Dr. August Rollier's work with heliotherapy. Special emphasis was given to Carl Jung’s spiritual concepts and those therapists working in metaphysical and spiritual health communities, such as those associated with the work of John H. Kellogg at the Sanitarium in Battle Creek, Michigan, with its long and illustrious history.
The concluding presentation of the afternoon was delivered by the Complementary and Alternative Medical (CAM) Practitioner and Researcher, Karl Maret, MD. His presentation, "Energy Healing Arts during Times of Global Transformation," addressed a plethora of new approaches in alternative medicine, including the use of light and sound and therapies involving subtle energies. To the delight of all present, he finished his address with scientific analysis of solar conditions through the year 2014.
The Friday morning opening address was skillfully delivered by Peig Myota, codirector of The Healing Place in Mequon, Wisconsin. In "A Mind-Body Approach to Color, Light, and Sound Frequency Healing," Ms. Myota revisited the tripartite entity discussed by Sean Savoy the previous day — outlining the physical, psychic, and spiritual person, and how she and her colleagues in Wisconsin have been using light, color, and sound in their numerous therapeutic approaches, which include aura reading with special computer programs, color applications with LED light bars above the treatment table and with radiant lighting in a separate room, and with sound applications developed in conjunction with Steamboat Healing Center in Reno, Nevada, a facility of Cosolargy International.
The mid-morning presentation, titled, "Images of Paradox: The Unity of Inner and Outer Life and the World Soul," was offered by Rowena Pattee Kryder, PhD. Drawing materials from her long and celebrated career — her fifteen books and hundreds of paintings, Ms. Kryder stressed that "there are subtle energies that the Vedic seers knew, and through breath we can become one with them and master them." Art, vision, symbols, and especially archetypes are essential in reconnecting our "inner" and "outer" consciousness via "The World Soul" (Teilhard de Chardin), or the unified PSI field, which relate to the Imaginal Realm (Karl Bohm), the so-called Implicate Order. Our greatest soul longing is to rediscover the "Christos" within.
Prior to luncheon, Yukinori Matsushita spoke about the work he and the Cosolargy Institute in Japan are undertaking. In addition to translating the Cosolargy Papers into Japanese, Mr. Matsushita has been enrolling Japanese students for studies with the Jamilian University.
Matsushita also addressed the recent tsunami and nuclear radiation concerns in Japan, along with ongoing solar-geophysical changes taking place in the islands. Overall the people are optimistic and spiritually strong but in need of more conscious guidance; for example, as found in the "Teachings of Light offered by our school."
He also discussed the global implications of the subtle energies, ley lines, ancient shrines, and specific locations found throughout Japan — viewed by spiritual leaders there as miniature maps of other continents and nations. In other words, events occurring in Japan, in terms of geophysical and spiritual concepts, are seen by traditional religious leaders as due to occur at resonant-corresponding areas around the planet.
After lunch, Gary Robert Buchanan gave an opening afternoon presentation titled "Sonatherapy and Cosolargy within the context of Fifth-Dimensional Paraphysic and Fourth-Dimensional Physics."
His talk also reviewed the tripartite entity discussed by Savoy and Myota above, then moved on to what is being developed in Sonatherapeutics at Steamboat Healing Center. Such includes the use of light, color, sound, water, and subtle energies in combination — a unique and relatively new approach to self-healing that is proving quite beneficial at sister facilities around the globe. Vedic principles of "Purusha" and divine architecture, "Vastu," were shown to be guides in the use of subtle energies for transformation, both on the personal and impersonal levels, and in harmony with the principles of Cosolargy.
In mid-afternoon, Cosolargy International hosted Swami Sri Atmananda from India. Atmananda heads the Satya-Chetana Movement there — with followers in the United States, India, and elsewhere. As an "awakened guru," he gave a brief talk on what he envisions now and for the future — in an optimistic and visionary fashion. Prior to his remarks, the swami also presented Gene Savoy Jr., President of Cosolargy International and the Jamilian University, with a traditional shawl of brotherhood, as Savoy and others had visited with him at his Indian ashram last year and are now "brothers."
To conclude the conference, Gene Savoy, Jr. followed Atmananda with thanks to the presenters and stressed that all at the Conference are involved in similar work and that world conditions dictate we come together now. Speaking on "The Inevitability of a New World," Savoy stressed that the Teachings of Cosolargy emphasize the melding, or blending, of science and religion. Science without religious principles is limited, and religion without science is dead. We are, or should be "spiritual scientists, researchers of the spirit and healers of the soul."
Differentiating between "sun gazing" and applying the religious art and spiritual science of Cosolargy, Savoy emphasized that we can acquire heighted psychic or intuitive senses and develop spiritual Consciousness. The physical sun is a porthole or gateway to another sun, or another world, and the information that streams forth comes from a world beyond time and space. It is the source of All, and Cosolargy allows the individual to experience this for himself or herself here and now.
"We are at the dawning of a Golden Age, a Golden Age of Light. We are instruments of the divine, God, Spirit. Consciousness has sent us here to do great things in this world. We are here to assist mankind in merging towards his divine origin. Powerful spiritual vibrations are at work and the inevitability of a New World is without question. It is happening now, and that is the spiritual state of the world."
On Friday evening following the conference, a "Spirit of Exploration" gala banquet was held at the Atlantis Hotel sponsored by Cosolargy International and the Andean Explorers Foundation (AEF&OSC). The dinner featured several films and an ongoing slide show of Cosolargy International’s two-week tour of Japan in May 2011, live music performed by harpist Deborah Brown and cellist David Brown, special Japanese dance selections, award presentations, and a memorial salute to the late Duncan MacLean, longtime friend of AEF&OSC, and which included a performance of live bagpipe selections.
On Saturday the tenth, a Fifteenth Anniversary Open-House, Health Fair & Expo was hosted at Steamboat Healing Center with hundreds in attendance. All presenters were on hand to meet the public, discuss alternative healing, and deliver short remarks. Also performing in the afternoon was noted soprano Jan Cercone, accompanied by singing bowls and chimes played by Richard Skalsky. The Steamboat performance was the first given by Cercone and initiated her current world tour.
In early evening a reception was held at Cosolargy International’s facilities on Mt. Carmel in south-west Reno for all the presenters, at which time lively discussions continued in regard to the Jamilian University, the New Community of Light, and how these special and talented individuals may help contribute to the ongoing mission of awakening humankind to the dawning new Light of Consciousness.
Continuing in this vein, on Sunday morning, September 11, a special Sunrise Prayer Service — with all attendees present, was observed at the Red Rock Consecrated Sanctuary north of Reno. Singing bowls and hand bells accompanied ecumenical prayers delivered by the officiants, and as the sun rose there were special chants representing several faith traditions and a special song composed and sung by the Japanese visitors.
On Sunday afternoon, the final Round Table of Presenters was held at the Airport Plaza Hotel in Reno. Moderated by Sean Savoy, the questions and responses offered delved ever more deeply into the subject of the current and future state of the world and how Cosolargy may help restore the proper frequencies and resonance needed — on all levels — and within the context of global healing.
All events were videotaped, and Cosolargy International is in the process of editing and making available DVDs of the conference.
